Back 2 months ago I had no idea that I would be gathering summer camp paperwork in any other way than at troop meetings. Suffice to say COVID-19 has all thrown us a curve ball. So, here goes round 2 of my summer camp email.
1.) Initial Registration
Summer Camp is still on (for now). Who knows what July will be like, but as far as we know we will still be going to Camp Falling Rock. I have created a google form for you to send me your registration. This is for scouts as well as adults attending. I will need 1 registration per scout (the adult can be added in the second part of the form).
2.) Payments & Permission Forms
For scouts attending the cost will be $290; for adults attending we are collecting a $50 deposit that will be refunded to scout account when you attend. This is to assure that we are only paying for adults who will be attending as leaders.
Regarding refunds: according to SKC if the Ohio Governor extends the quarantine and summer camp does not happen, 100% refunds will be granted.

3.) Medical Forms
Medical forms (Parts A, B, and C) are required for all scouts and adults attending and will need to be sent to our medical officer. As you can imagine or already have found out this is a very challenging time to get physicals. If you already have your medical forms, you can send them in. Instructions will be on the mailing list.
If you have concerns about being able to get a physical done in our current situation, there should be a separate discussion starting soon and I will let others in the troop address on the google group.
