First off, congratulations and welcome to the Troop! Our scouts, scoutmasters, and committee members are all excited to get to know our newest members.
As parents of a young man crossing over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts, I’m sure that you have several questions. We do our best to answer them at our New Scout Parent Meeting each year.
We invite all of the parents of our new scouts to join us during the Troop Meeting on April 3rd (7:00 – 8:30). We will cover registration & dues, uniforms, camp-outs and outings, volunteer opportunities, and much much more. Our scouts will have a couple of brief presentations for you as well as a Q&A session with some of our assistant scoutmasters and committee members.
For the parents of Pack 466, who have their crossover ceremony on that night, our Scoutmaster will be at the crossover with several of our scouts to cover the same information.
If you have any questions beforehand or if you are unable to make that meeting, you can e-mail the Scoutmaster or find him or any Assistant Scoutmaster during our regular Troop meetings.
